Anthea Martin is a Senior Vice President at BWE in Denver with over 20 years of experience in multifamily finance. She specializes in loan origination for market-rate and affordable multifamily properties, focusing on FHA/HUD, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac programs. Anthea has structured, underwritten, and closed hundreds of transactions, representing several billion dollars in total volume.
Before joining BWE, she held leadership roles at Walker & Dunlop, CBRE, Colorado Business Bank, and Signet Partners, gaining expertise in construction lending and Section 8 refinancings. She began her career in CMBS at Lehman Brothers and as an investment analyst at NorthMarq Capital.
Anthea holds a Bachelor’s in Information Systems and Marketing from NYU’s Stern School of Business and a Master’s in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver. She is Chair of the Colorado State Housing Board, a member of multiple committees focused on housing and finance, and a founding board member of Sharing Connexion. A mentor for several organizations, she was named a Housing Wire 2016 Woman of Influence and is a frequent industry speaker. Anthea lives in Denver with her husband and three sons.
