Bobby Harvey’s career in commercial acquisitions and development spans 14 years and multiple regions. Born into a commercial development family in Maryland, he honed his skills at Cornell University, studying landscape architecture and real estate. After graduation, he joined Blu Homes, a single-family developer and builder in the Northeast. His journey then took him to San Francisco, where he oversaw several large land development projects. In 2015, he joined Urban Villages and Bio-Logical Capital, relocating to Hawaii for a year to work on a large 2,500-acre master-planned development project with diverse uses including residential, retail, office, hospitality, and agricultural.

Upon his move to Denver in late 2015, Bobby Harvey brought his expertise to Urban Villages, focusing on urban development projects in Seattle and Denver. His contributions were recognized, and he was promoted from Development Manager to Sr Manager of Development and Acquisitions, then to Director of Development, and finally to Vice President of Development. His direct responsibilities encompassed over $500 million worth of work during his tenure at Urban Villages.

Several of the high-profile projects he led while at Urban Villages included the acquisition, de-leasing, entitlement, funding, construction, and lease-up of the 75,000 square foot LEED-Gold certified 419 Occidental office building in Seattle. The project received historic tax credits and involved a full seismic upgrade to the structure, all new mechanical systems, and the addition of the 7,000-square-foot penthouse. Other projects include the repositioning of a 66,000-square-foot office building to a 120-key high-end hotel in Seattle, the development of the 265-key Populus hotel in Downtown Denver, the design and entitlements of a 160,000-square-foot CLT office building in Golden Triangle, and the entitlement, historical renovation, tenant improvement work, and sale of Larimer Square.

In 2023 Bobby and his partner Alexis Gorlin founded Fall Line Development to acquire retail assets in strategic growth locations across the Colorado front range. After working together for 7+ years at a local development and asset management company, Alexis and Bobby wanted to capitalize on a growing market opportunity of acquiring sub-institutional size retail centers in Colorado. Alexis’s strong experience running asset management and overseeing an approximately $500 million dollar real estate portfolio, combined with Bobby’s expertise in development and acquisitions, provided a great opportunity to partner on a new venture
