Mr. Marott has had licenses as a real estate broker and general contractor. An energetic leader and former professional soccer player, Marott won two National Championships in both outdoor and indoor Soccer. In 1995 Mr. Marott received a Bachelor of Science from California State Northridge with a double major, finance and real estate. To date, Marott has been involved in the implementation of over $100 million of construction and over $1 billion in planned projects. He has been working with Vail Resorts in different capacities over the last 15 years, ranging from working with the Vail Resorts Development Company to the Area Director of Engineering in Hospitality. His current role is the General Manager of the Vail Collection which includes the Arrabelle, The Lodge at Vail and the Ritz Residences in Vail Colorado. He is responsible for the leadership and motivation of hotel including running the day to day operations which includes the Spa and Restaurants. He is also responsible for ensuring the project team and partners consistently deliver above expectations.

Mr. Marott’s development and Hospitality experience encompasses extensive hotel operations, land acquisition, securing entitlements and financing, negotiating contracts, construction management, project closeouts, client relationships and investor relationships.

Mr. Marott is an avid outdoorsman who skis, rock climbs and competes in mountain biking . He currently resides in Avon, CO with his wife and children, who also likes to work hard and play hard.
