Bruce Backstrom has more than 26 years of commercial real estate experience. As Chief Operating Officer, Bruce oversees the operations of the firm and manages the Colorado office for Hannay Realty Advisors. Before joining Hannay, Bruce was the managing director of Asset Services for CB Richard Ellis in Colorado, where he had executive oversight for a staff of over 200 individuals who managed a portfolio of commercial properties in excess of over 26 million square feet. He also spent seven years as senior vice president at Trammell Crow Company, where he oversaw the Colorado Property Management team. Prior to that, he was senior real estate manager for CB Richard Ellis, responsible for a portfolio of over two million square feet of commercial properties. Bruce’s experience includes management of office, retail, industrial and medical office buildings. He has also provided receivership responsibilities for distressed properties.
