Doug’s energy management and sustainability work began in the mid-1990s as a junior engineer working with pioneers of the industry. Through his work on public policy, government and utility programs, as well as individual projects, Doug has experience in all facets of energy management and sustainability as it applies to the commercial and industrial sectors. At Iconergy, Doug shapes programs and projects by developing and refining our clients’ goals, and then guiding Iconergy’s overall performance in meeting or exceeding those goals. In addition, Doug directly manages select programs and projects, including government (federal, state, local) and utility energy efficiency programs, diversified energy management programs and projects for large commercial and industrial entities, and performance contracts. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis as well as a variety of industry certifications in energy management, sustainability, and process efficiency.
