Heather Belfor, director of U.S. research, is responsible for developing cutting-edge views on U.S. logistics real estate, economy and capital markets to inform forecasts and investment strategies. She also surfaces data and creates insights on structural trends influencing logistics real estate performance. Ms. Belfor is also responsible for the IBI Index, US rent forecasts, US macro metrics and other US-specific data and regular reporting.
Prior to joining Prologis Ms. Belfor was the research manager for the JLL Silicon Valley office, in charge of leading the overall strategic research plan for office and industrial for the Northern California region.
Ms. Belfor started her economic research career with the World Bank, serving as a consultant and stationed in the Solomon Islands. Thereafter, she worked as a consultant at Rosen Consulting Group where her real estate career began. She left Rosen as a vice president, where she served as a strategic consultant and advisor on US macroeconomic and real estate market conditions, covering all property types (both residential and commercial) across markets nationally
Ms. Belfor holds a master’s in international and development economics from the University of San Francisco and a bachelor of arts in economics and communications from the University of California, Davis.
