Professional Background

As regional director of management services for the Southeast region, Josh Shoemaker brings more than 25 years of direct operational and client relations experience to the oversight and growth of Newmark Knight Frank’s property management portfolio in Colorado, Florida, Georgia and North Carolina. Mr. Shoemaker is responsible for regional operations, implementing strategic programs to ensure properties’ success, staff recruitment, training and performance management and overall regional financial performance. Mr. Shoemaker also oversees NKF’s small-scale facilities management services, for clients such as Liberty Mutual, General Electric, Andeavor and Keurig Green Mountain.

Previously, Mr. Shoemaker served as the director of engineering for the Eastern region at NKF and was responsible for overseeing engineering operations, working with clients to increase the efficiency and value of their assets and the development and implementation of best practices. He also provided business development support, client relationship management and transitioned more than 300 million square feet of client-owned facilities and investment assets, which included the on-boarding of more than 500 engineering and technical staff.

Prior to joining NKF, Mr. Shoemaker spent 12 years with CBRE, as the director of account integration with the Facilities Management Solutions Group. In this role, he was responsible for facility management business development support and transition management for new assignments. Mr. Shoemaker also provided consulting services, including account refresh and workflow management strategies to existing clients.
