Lauren Monti has more than 5 years of experience in the A/E/C industry with a strong passion for sustainable infrastructure projects. Lauren has been working in marketing and proposal roles for engineering firms, 4 years being with Iconergy, and regularly collaborates with various teams to develop meaningful solutions that achieve client goals. In addition to encouraging teams to go beyond the status quo to make projects more sustainable, she is also an advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
She has a master’s degree from the University of South Florida, Patel College of Global Sustainability with a focus on Building Sustainable Enterprise and Sustainable Energy as well as a bachelor’s degree is in Environmental Science & Policy and a Minor in Leadership Studies. While earning her degree, she was hired by her university’s facilities department to provide a comparative analysis of 13 Climate Action Plans for colleges and universities in the state of Florida to determine where the University of South Florida ranked and to suggest future projects that would reduce GHG emissions and increase energy efficiency throughout the campus.
