Mark brings a comprehensive set of skills and experiences to the Elsy team in his role as senior project manager. He has more than 23 years of experience in the architecture and interior design industry, handling everything from project and client management to finances, business development and marketing. His depth and breadth of knowledge about the field allows him to successfully oversee and direct client’s interior design needs from start to finish.

Mark is responsible for managing jobs, and supervising managers and interior designers. He also assists with the construction administration processes and holds an internal operations role within Elsy. Prior to joining Elsy, Mark honed his skills in project management with Ware Malcomb in Greenwood Village, CO and principal of Mark Cheeks Interiors, LLC. In these roles, he delivered complete interior design solutions, including construction administration for large commercial clients with budgets up to, and exceeding, $1 million.

As studio manager for Ware Malcomb, his responsibilities included building and maintaining profitability for the company, growing and diversifying its staff, and developing strategic marketing goals. His approachable personality and ability to foster strong relationships with key business partners and vendors has earned Mark a reputation for providing exceptional customer service. His passion for continuous improvement contributes to his ability to incorporate the latest design trends into client projects as well as make him a successful mentor to his staff.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Mississippi State University. He is also completing his architectural licensing exams.
