Matthew Stewart has been with Fulenwider for close to 4 years and currently serves as Vice President of Finance and Operations.
Fulenwider has been developing in the Denver area since 1904, and currently specializes in horizontal land development.
Some of the key development projects underway include:
• Peña Station development west of Tower Rd between 60th and 72nd Avenues
• Box Elder development, which includes the Denali Business Park partnership with Hines, south of DIA in Aurora. This project also contained the 267-acre sale to Microsoft in 2022 on 56th Avenue, east of E-470.
• Landowners for the Reunion masterplan community, in partnership with Oakwood, in Commerce City.
Matthew’s responsibilities include cash, equity and debt matters, corporate strategy and forecasting, oversight of accounting, tax, treasury, legal, HR and IT, as well as board membership for several metropolitan districts.
Prior to joining Fulenwider Matthew worked in the US at companies such as Optum, Danone, Walgreens, and NASDAQ, and in the UK and Australia with Unilever and Medibank respectively.
Originally for Melbourne, Australia, Matthew holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT). He is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
