Melissa Rummel is Development Director for Nichols Partnership. Ms. Rummel found her path to real estate development in 2008 by way of real estate brokerage, urban planning and a love for infill placemaking. Melissa joined Nichols Partnership in 2013 bringing public and private experience across all facets of development and urban planning. While at Nichols, Melissa has managed 1M SF of new construction and adaptive reuse office and multi-family projects. She is active in Denver’s real estate community at large, having severed on several Denver CPD task forces and was an appointed member of Denver’s Downtown Design Advisory Board 2019-2021.

Ms. Rummel holds a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from University of Colorado in Denver and a dual-Bachelor’s degree in Economics and International Affairs from the University of Colorado in Boulder. She is a LEED AP and has maintained an active real estate brokerage license for the past fifteen years.
