Nicole Walusis is a Senior Vice President at FirstBank, Colorado’s second largest bank and the second largest privately-held bank in the nation. As an industry veteran with over 11 years’ experience, Walusis helps oversee the bank’s Northern Colorado Market, which includes eight branch locations, over 120 employees and over $900M in assets. She’s also responsible for commercial and consumer lending, business development, officer management and development.

Walusis specifically serves as the Area Manager over the three Fort Collins branches, which have combined assets over $251M. In addition to providing mentorship, career development, training of junior officers, customer development strategies, working through loan transactions with her team of six officers, she also responsible for personal loan production
goals in amounts over $70M/year.

Nicole is a highly active member of the community. She currently serves as the Board President for Book Trust (Northern Colorado segment) , and is an active member of the Fort Collins Board of Realtors and CREW.

Nicole is a Colorado native, born and raised in Parker, Colorado. She received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Colorado. She graduated with her MBA with an emphasis in Change Management also from the University of Colorado. She also holds a certificate in advanced bank coursework from the Pacific Coast Banking School, as well as an Executive Leadership Certification from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business.

Nicole currently resides outside of Fort Collins, where she and her husband Matt are raising their three children.
