In 1982, Ron moved to Steamboat Springs from Iowa City, Iowa to attend Colorado Mountain College. Little did he know Steamboat Springs was a world-class ski area, so he learned how to ski. He’s been here ever since. Thus, he is very familiar with the geographical layout of NW Colorado – where the best place is to live or invest – as well as the market trends of over 30 years. 

Ron’s been investing in real estate since 1987. He has been extensively involved in commercial, condominium, residential and land subdivision development since 1996. Ron has a wealth of knowledge and understanding you can benefit from, whether buying, selling or developing. Having been an Owner/Broker for many years, he has a wide range of experience in all types of properties and can assist you with all your real estate needs, whatever they may entail. 

Ron enjoys many outdoor activities including snowmobiling, skiing, snowboarding, and elk and bird hunting in the beautiful mountains of Northwest Colorado. He can also be found fly-fishing the Yampa or getting in 18 holes at one of the four picturesque golf courses in the Yampa Valley. Vacations from the area are usually to the desserts of Moab for ATV/dirt biking or scuba diving in the waters of the Caribbean or pheasant hunting in Nebraska or the Dakota’s.

Ron’s real passion are his two children. Payton, just beginning her professional life, is following her love and passion for horses. She is currently a trainer and groomer for a successful equestrian team that works with Olympic riders. His son Landon, nearing the end of his high school days, is already a strong, aggressive mogul skier. Landon competes and ranks with the best in the world; qualifying for the 2018 NorAm Tour has been a thrilling achievement! Gus, Ron’s 3-year-old German Wiredhaired Pointer, is always by Ron’s side and is always ready for the next bird hunt.
