Sara Croot is an Executive Director and Client Manager with the Chase Commercial Mortgage Lending Group in Denver, CO. She is responsible for providing commercial real estate professionals with term financing solutions from $1 million – $25 million+ for purchase or refinance of stabilized office, industrial, retail and mixed use properties. Sara started her career with the Washington Mutual Multifamily Lending Group in 2001 and during her time with WaMu, was involved in the origination and underwriting of over $300M in permanent apartment loans. In 2006 she joined Compass Bank as a Relationship Manager in the Commercial Real Estate Group and originated over $200M in commercial construction and short term bridge loans. In 2011 she became the West Region Manager of Central Underwriting overseeing the underwriting function for the $1.5B commercial real estate portfolio in BBVA Compass’ West Region. In 2012, she became the Senior Vice President and National Manager of the CRE Underwriting function in the Risk and Portfolio Management Division, managing the underwriting function for the middle market CRE portfolio across the BBVA Compass footprint. Sara received her Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Colorado State University and is actively involved in CREW Denver, having served as a past Director of Membership and 2012 CREW Denver Chapter President.
