Dr. Sharon Jaye is the Energize Denver Policy Manager for Denver’s Office of Climate Action, Sustainability and Resiliency. She manages the team that are implementing the new existing building performance policy, with Denver being the 5th city in this country to have this type of legislation. She has more than 20 years of experience in project/facilities management and implementing sustainable facilities in public and private K-12 schools and higher education institutions. With degrees in business administration, project management, and educational leadership, she has IFMA’s Sustainability Facility Professional credential and authored several of IFMA’s sustainability guides on Carbon Footprinting and Waste Management.
