Stephanie Gerakos-Rooker, PE, LEED AP, CGD is a Senior Mechanical Engineer with IMEG in Greenwood Village, Colorado. With expertise in sustainable design, HVAC systems, and decarbonization, she combines technical skills with a strategic approach to energy-efficient, long-lasting solutions. Stephanie is an advocate for net zero energy projects and was the lead designer on Locust Trace Agriscience Farm, the nation’s third Net Zero Energy School, which was highlighted in Green Building and Design Magazine.
Stephanie’s career includes a decade of experience working with critical facilities, especially hospitals, where she designed system retrofits for clients like the Mayo Clinic. Her contributions have advanced IMEG’s mission of delivering high-performance, sustainable solutions tailored to healthcare and senior housing needs. This commitment will be featured at the ASHE Health Care Facilities Innovation Conference, where Stephanie and IMEG’s Doug Sitton will co-present “Integrating Comprehensive, Continuous Building Performance Optimization and Decarbonization” with Dan Coxall of Children’s Hospital Colorado.
