Terry Barnard is an affordable housing real estate professional with over 17 years of experience in multifamily mortgage lending, underwriting low income housing tax credit (LIHTC) equity investments, asset management, and tax credit allocation. Most recently, Terry has worked for the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) since December 2014 in the Multifamily Lending department originating and underwriting loans for multifamily affordable housing developers. From May 2011 to December 2014, Terry worked in the Asset Management and Tax Credit Allocation departments after returning to CHFA from 5 years in the private sector. Terry originally worked at CHFA from February 1999 through August 2005 in loan servicing and Rental Housing. Prior to returning to CHFA in May 2011, Terry worked for Enterprise Community Investment beginning in August 2005, first as a Fannie Mae DUS mortgage originator and underwriter and later as a development analyst for LIHTC syndications.  In addition to experience in the above positions, Terry’s skills include financial analysis, credit analysis, market condition analysis, construction plan review, and loan and tax credit compliance. Terry is an accredited LEED Green Associate.
