Tim Hoppin is Managing Director on the Lument Affordable Housing Production team. Mr. Hoppin has 20 years of experience in the affordable housing finance industry. His experience includes underwriting, asset managing, and structuring construction and permanent loans as a banker/originator. He has worked on a wide variety of affordable deals with multiple layers of subordinate debt and grants. He has also worked extensively on financings that include ground leases and project-based Section 8 HAP contracts. His career began at Newman Capital/GMAC Commercial Mortgage, and through a series of mergers and acquisitions, evolved into one at Capmark and then Citi Community Capital. Mr. Hoppin has been with Lument for over seven years and his current role includes originating and structuring affordable, workforce and conventional Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and FHA debt products.
