Tom serves as a Vice President for MLG Capital, responsible for acquisitions in the Mountain West and Pacific Northwest. Based in MLG’s Denver office, he is actively involved in the sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, financing, and closing of new investment opportunities for MLG’s direct and Legacy Fund strategies. He also assists in the operations and asset management of the existing Legacy Fund portfolio and fundraises for MLG’s series of private funds.

Before MLG Capital, Tom was a Commercial Mortgage Analyst at American Equity Life Insurance. At American Equity, Tom underwrote new financing opportunities and assisted in originating loans on multiple property types throughout the country.

Tom played college football at Drake University where he graduated with degrees in Finance and Economics.
