I’m a Certified Energy Manager, Certified Demand Side Manager, and Certified Measurement and Verification Professional with over 25 years of experience as an energy consultant, I strive to promote market transformation and work toward a more sustainable built environment through practical application of energy consulting and financial methods. I specialize in measurement and verification services, energy audits, retro-commissioning, third-party technical review, and project financing. My experience also includes technical writing, master planning, ongoing commissioning, LEED-related support services, and dynamic building simulation.

I am currently acting as the Director of the CO C-PACE Program, working to help promote energy efficiency, renewable energy, water efficiency and smart design – and to get these projects financed! I previously served as the Technical Director for GBCI’s Investor Confidence Project which involves assembly of existing technical standards and best practices into a straightforward set of protocols that define a clear road map from efficiency opportunity to investment ready project.

I am currently the Chair of the IPMVP technical committee and a member of Colorado’s Building Performance Standards (BPS) Task Force, and when I’m not working, I’m playing hockey, snowboarding, hiking with my dogs, or worrying about my Fantasy Football team.
