Victor L. Sulzer is a partner in the law firm Tschetter Sulzer, P.C. . Vic has been associated with the Firm for over 20 years. While in law school, he interned at Hopkins & Tschetter, the predecessor of the current firm. Vic has established a reputation for aggressive representation of clients in routine and complex landlord tenant issues. He also handles commercial and real estate litigation, public trustee foreclosures, and business entity formation. Vic has substantial experience in dealing with the various federal and state laws governing fair housing, as well as with the federal and state agencies with whom tenant discrimination and fair housing complaints are lodged. He regularly represents Firm clients in front of the Colorado Civil Rights Division, HUD, and in state and federal court. Vic regularly writes and publicly speaks about property management issues.
In addition to his work with and on behalf of clients and appearing almost daily in court, Vic’s management responsibilities at the Firm also include coordinating and scheduling the Firm attorney court appearances and managing the eviction staff team. His commitment to using client education as a tool to prevent avoidable legal problems for clients served as motivation for Vic to develop our Basic Eviction and Advanced Eviction classes that he teaches as part of our Value-Added Firm Services that is provided to clients.
The eldest of three siblings, Vic grew up in Denver attending Park Hill Elementary, Smiley Junior High, and East Denver High School. His life-long involvement with and knowledge of the Denver Metro area is a substantial asset in understanding and dealing with client issues. Vic is an honors graduate of Middlebury College where he majored in Economics. After college and prior to graduate school, Vic lived in New York City where he was a Financial Consultant. Vic enjoys most about the practice of law is his interaction with many diverse individuals and the challenge of assisting them in the positive resolution of their problems.
Vic participates in numerous professional, civic, charitable, and political activities. He currently serves on an AAMD committee, is a Board member of the Apartment Association of Southern Colorado (AASC) and the Boulder Apartment Rental Housing Association (BARHA)Vic is actively involved in numerous civic and charitable organizations. Competitive by nature, he is a dedicated sports enthusiast. Vic skis, golfs, mountain bikes, hunts, fishes, and also participates in the team sports of ice hockey and softball. Vic and his wife Wendy live in the Denver Metro area.
