As Vice President – Facilities, Design & Construction, Mr. Redetzke leads UCHealth teams focused on real estate, design, construction, security, and plant operations throughout Colorado. He joined UCHealth in October 2021.

Mr. Redetzke has more than 30 years of experience and a strong track record of success in real estate development, design, construction, operations, and collaboration with strategic partners. His senior leadership experience in healthcare also includes SSM Health, a 23 hospital system based in St. Louis, MO, and Spectrum Health, a 14-hospital system based in Grand Rapids, MI. Since 2012, Rick’s responsibilities have included real estate, facility planning, design, construction, security, parking/transportation, plant operations, nutrition services, environmental services, valet operations, hospitality/guest services, and a volunteer program.

Prior to leadership roles in healthcare, Mr. Redetzke served as a project executive for ERDMAN in Madison, Wisconsin, where he led real estate development and design-build teams for healthcare clients. Additionally, Mr. Redetzke has significant experience in the education, industrial, and commercial sectors.

Mr. Redetzke holds Bachelor of Science degrees in both industrial engineering and business from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville and a Master of Business Administration from Western Michigan University. He is a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives and a Certified Healthcare Facility Manager with the American Society of Healthcare Engineering.
