Aerospace company lands in 17,005 square feet

A local aerospace company will expand from its current location in Longmont into a nearby building in The Campus at Longmont.

Redstone Aerospace Corp. signed a long-term lease for 17,005 square feet at 2410 Trade Centre Ave.

Redstone Aerospace provides cryogenic systems and high-precision pointing subsystems to both NASA and Department of Defense contractors, according to its website. The company currently occupies approximately 10,500 sf in Longmont and will move into the new space late in the first quarter.

Hunter Barto and Dryden Dunsmore of Dean Callan & Co. represented the landlord, GCC Longmont Holdings LP, in the lease transaction. John Marlin of Westbrook Realty Associates represented the tenant.

Also at the Campus at Longmont, Guidestar Optical Systems Inc. leased 4,800 sf at 1501 S. Sunset St. Barto and Dunsmore represented GCC Longmont Holdings. Ken Voss of Re/Max Traditions represented Guidestar.

“Longmont continues to be an attractive place to do business,” said Barto. “It has a diverse mix of software/IT, solid-state and flash drive industry, aerospace, semiconductor, R&D and design tenants. With its lower relative costs of occupancy, 1G NextLight fiber, inventory of versatile flex buildings, increasing retail amenities and recreation, Longmont becomes the clear, compelling choice more and more.”
