Sage Hospitality Group’s Rally Hotel at McGregor Square set to open in spring

Sage Hospitality Group announced that The Rally Hotel is set to open in early spring. Part of the McGregor Square development in the heart of Denver’s Lower Downtown’s neighborhood between Wynkoop, Wazee, 19th and 20th streets, the Rally Hotel was designed by Stantec and is being built by Hensel Phelps.

Fransen Pittman, MOA complete Denver Hospice support center in Lowry area

Along with Fransen Pittman General Contractors, MOA recently marked the completion of the Amy Davis Hospice Support Center in the Lowry neighborhood of Denver. The new facility is an addition to The Denver Hospice’s Inpatient Care Center at Lowry, a project also designed by MOA. The Denver Hospice is the region’s largest nonprofit provider of hospice and palliative care.

CSU Spur campus is being built in Denver by JE Dunn Construction

Colorado State University’s Spur campus in north Denver is under construction near the intersection of Interstates 25 and 70. Opening in 2022, the campus is being built for the public – with a focus on the connectivity of food, water and health.

Kris Oppermann Stern is publisher and editor of Building Dialogue, a Colorado Real Estate Journal publication, and editor of CREJ's construction, design, and engineering section, including news and bylined articles. Building Dialogue is a quarterly, four-color magazine that caters specifically to the AEC industry, including features on projects and people, as well as covering trends in design, construction, interior design, development and more. Kris joined CREJ as an editor in 1998, after serving as editor of the Colorado Springs Business Journal. Kris earned her Bachelor of Arts, Journalism and Mass Communication, from the University of Colorado at Boulder. When not covering Colorado’s commercial AEC community, she enjoys Pilates, reading, traveling, walking her Golden Retriever and cheering on her hockey-playing son.
