Anderson Mason Dale names Pfeifer president
David C. Pfeifer, AIA, was named president of Anderson Mason Dale Architects.
As the new leader of the firm, Pfeifer will be responsible for overseeing the strategic vision and mission of the firm while providing leadership to its 60-plus employees. Pfeifer brings to the role extensive experience on higher education campuses and the firm’s deepest municipal portfolio throughout the Rocky Mountain West, while remaining actively engaged in his community.
Pfeifer’s recent projects include the Platte River Power Authority headquarters, the Aerospace Engineering Sciences Building for Metropolitan State University of Denver and three new buildings on the University of Colorado Denver’s Anschutz Medical Campus. He also teaches at the University of Colorado Denver’s College of Architecture and Planning in the Master of Architecture program, helping emerging professionals prepare for professional practice.
Following the promotion of five new principals this past year, Pfeifer will be taking the reins from Paul S. Haack, AIA. Haack has worked for AMD for 33 years and was named firm president in 2008.
