Denver Public Schools acquired an educational facility at 11200 E. 45th Ave. for $11.1 million, or $97.62 per square foot.
High Tech Early College, along with DSST, a science and technology charter school, occupy the 113,705-sf building. Ed Options LLC was the seller.
John Emmerling, senior adviser at Pinnacle Real Estate Advisors, said the school district previously leased the property and exercised a first right of refusal after another party sought to acquire it.
“The charter school was previously the headquarters for the Samsonite Corp. It was converted to an educational campus in 2005 and has adequate land for future expansion on the 13.02-acre site,” Emmerling said.
