SkyHouse Denver time-lapse video

SkyHouse Denver, being built by a joint venture between Batson-Cook Construction and Swinerton Builders, is targeting an August opening.

SkyHouse Denver is a 26-story, cast-in-place luxury apartment building featuring 354 apartments, 460 structured parking spaces and 6,900 square feet of ground-level retail at 18th and Broadway.

The project is being developed by Novare Group, Simpson Housing and Batson-Cook Development Company. Smallwood, Reynolds, Stewart, Stewart & Associates Inc. is the architect and a joint venture between Batson-Cook Construction and Swinerton Builders is the general contractor team. Construction will generate approximately 500 skilled-labor jobs.

Apartment homes will range from studio to two-bedroom dens. The signature SkyHouse on the top floor of the building includes a clubroom, swimming pool and fitness center. The building is targeting next-generation professionals who are choosing to live in urban centers close to public transportation, employment centers and cultural institutions.

The apartment homes will all have 9-foot ceilings with floor-to-ceiling glass, quartz countertops, hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances and porcelain tile. In addition to the SkyHouse amenity deck, SkyHouse Denver will have vehicle charging stations, bike storage, bike kitchen, a dog walk area and a dog washing station. The sustainable building is being built to Energy Star standards.

The project broke ground in February 2015 and topped out Dec. 3. Leasing begins this spring with the building opening in August 2016.

SkyHouse Denver is one of 17 SkyHouse-branded apartment communities in the United States, including projects in Dallas, Houston, Austin, Atlanta, Nashville, Tampa, Orlando, Charlotte and Raleigh. More information can be found at www.skyhousedenver.com.
