Krasnow joins Crescent Communities

Ben Krasnow has joined Crescent Communities as the managing director for the southwest region of the real estate company’s multifamily business.

Located in its Denver office, Krasnow will lead the company’s expansion of its investment platform in the West and, in particular, Denver, Phoenix and Salt Lake City – three markets Crescent identified for significant future growth.

Most recently, Krasnow served as the vice president of multifamily development for McWhinney. In this role, he managed the development of more than 2,000 apartment homes in the Denver area, as well as Austin, Texas, Portland, Oregon, and Omaha, Nebraska. He also has 15 years of progressively complex experience in the multifamily real estate industry, including the Bozzuto Group in Washington, D.C.

Krasnow holds a master’s degree in real estate development from the University of Maryland.
