A Boulder company that recycles cell phones and tablets will occupy an office/warehouse building in Lafayette.
A trust affiliated with The Wireless Alliance purchased 1275 Rock Creek Circle for $3.15 million, or $148.62 per square foot. The company will move into the 21,195-sf building, which occupies a 1.83-acre site, in the next three to four months.
Intelagard, which had owned the building since 2010, was the seller. “They wanted to take the equity in the building and invest it in the company,” said Ashley Overton of The Colorado Group, who represented Intelagard in the transaction. Intelagard will remain in the building for a couple of months and then lease space in another location going forward.
Built in 1997, the Rock Creek Circle building is about half office and half warehouse space. It provides signage visibility, natural light, building security, showers and locker rooms, and fire sprinklers throughout.
“We went under contract almost immediately,” said Overton, who added there was significant interest in the asset. “I got a ton of inquiries, but I had to tell everyone that we were under contract right away,” he said.
The Wireless Alliance provides recycling, trade-ins and other services for individuals and corporate clients. Michael-Ryan McCarty of Gibbons-White Inc. represented the buyer in the transaction.
