NewMark Merrill Cos. names Staneski VP of leasing and acqusitions

Alex Staneski

Alex Staneski was named vice president of leasing and acquisitions in NewMark Merrill Cos.’ Longmont office.

In his role, Staneski will be responsible for developing and managing the firm’s pipeline of shopping center acquisitions, development projects and property management assignments as well as supporting the leasing efforts of the existing portfolio throughout the Rocky Mountain region.

Staneski most recently served as assistant vice president of asset management and acquisitions for Broad Street Realty, where he was responsible for managing the firm’s portfolio, including over 1 million square feet of retail space valued at over $180 million.  An established retail real estate executive, Staneksi brings expertise to NewMark Merrill Mountain States in all phases of acquisitions and development, including negotiations, finance due diligence, predevelopment analysis and vertical project execution.

Staneski earned a master’s degree in real estate and finance from University of Colorado Boulder.
