Rowland+Broughton designs East Peak 8 in Breckenridge

The project will further enrich the overall mountain ambiance and convenience of the Peak 7 and Peak 8 base areas.

Completing the last 4.5-acre cornerstone site of Peak 8 in Breckenridge, East Peak 8 Luxury Hotel and Condominiums is under construction.

The project was designed to further enrich the overall mountain ambiance and convenience of the Peak 7 and Peak 8 base areas, according to architect Rowland+Broughton.

The project enhances the existing vernacular of Breckenridge mountain architecture through a combined program of transitional architectural characteristics and modern construction methods. A cluster of gabled alpine structures complements existing base buildings and gives a nod to historic mining camps in the area, while a relaxed, welcoming mountain plaza engages the local community and visitors alike.

“We are so honored and excited to be involved with this significant project, which is very meaningful to the Breckenridge community and will help reinforce it as one of the premier resort destinations in North America,” said Principal Sarah Broughton, AIA, NCIDQ.
