Aaron Esselink is a Product Portfolio Manager at Xcel Energy. Aaron manages the Business New Construction product portfolio that includes the Energy Design Assistance (EDA), Energy Efficient Buildings (EEB) and the Codes and Standards products in Colorado. This portfolio helps Xcel Energy’s business customers build and renovate with energy efficiency in mind by assisting during the design phases to evaluate and study efficient alternatives.

Xcel Energy helps customers offset the extra costs associated with the more efficient build by supplying an incentive depending on the amount of energy saved beyond energy code requirements. Aaron contributes to the Colorado Code Collaborative and has served on the City of Denver’s Code advisory committee for the Denver Green Code and IECC. When not digging into the details of energy codes, you can find him in the park with his dog Jessie.
