Andrew Holder became the Director of Community Relations and Local Government Affairs in 2023. Andrew has served previously as the Northern Colorado Area Manager for Xcel. Prior to his current position he has served in various project management positions at Xcel from advanced grid infrastructure, Wildfire Mitigation to new project development. Andrew has been with the company since 2018. Prior to coming to Xcel, Andrew worked as a Project and Entitlements Manager for new housing and commercial developments.

As Director, Andrew leads a team of Community Relations Area Managers that cover all Xcel service territories across the state. The Community Relations team acts as the primary liaison between Xcel and the communities we serve. His team works with residents, businesses, organizations and other civic or political groups to ensure the best interests of those individuals or group are put forth.

Andrew is also extremely engaged within the community, serving in several leadership capacities across the state. Andrew is a Colorado Native and attended Colorado Mesa on a football scholarship. He is married to his wife, Casey, and father to two young boys.
