In his role with Castle Lanterra Properties, Mr. Alexander oversees the acquisition and repositioning of special situation and value-add opportunities. Mr. Alexander’s expertise spans the entire property ownership life cycle, from initial opportunity identification to transaction and capital structuring, through the execution of property repositioning strategies and disposition. Prior to working with Castle Lanterra, Mr. Alexander was a partner in the acquisition and management of multiple New York real estate investments totaling over $200 million in value, and he was previously part of the Real Estate team at The Blackstone Group. Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Alexander was an Associate in the Commercial Real Estate Group of Deutsche Bank, a leader in commercial real estate finance. His primary responsibilities at Deutsche Bank included the sourcing, structuring, and underwriting of first mortgage, bridge, and mezzanine loans for commercial real estate assets. Mr. Alexander graduated magna cum laude with concentrations in Management and Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 2002.
