Becky Christoffersen is the Chief Investment Officer of Midwest Housing Equity Group, Inc. As Chief Investment Officer, she is responsible for fundraising efforts and investor relations, as well as preparing and reviewing each new Fund offering and assisting the Chief Acquisitions Officer in ensuring all of MHEG’s investments meet underwriting requirements. She was previously the Director of Investor Relations and the Director of Development and Underwriting. Becky also previously served as President of Midwest Housing Development Fund, Inc. a 501(c)(3) organization and a Community Development Financial Institution (“CDFI”). In addition, she serves on the Board of Directors of the Impact Development Fund, a Colorado based CDFI. Prior to working for Midwest Housing Equity Group, Inc., Becky was a Senior Auditor for Deloitte & Touche LLP in Omaha, Nebraska. She received a B.A. in Business Administration from Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska and a Master of Public Accountancy from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska.
