Bill Aiken serves as Deputy Director of the Adams County Community and Economic Development Department, where he leads the County’s comprehensive economic development strategy. In this capacity, he oversees initiatives to attract new investment, advance major real estate projects, and drive countywide revitalization efforts that strengthen Adams County’s economic foundation.

Bill directs collaboration with property owners, developers, and corporate leaders to guide projects from concept to completion, fostering a dynamic, resilient, and business-friendly economy. Under his leadership, Adams County is focused on expanding its base of high-wage employment, promoting strategic infill and redevelopment opportunities, and ensuring that growth aligns with the County’s long-term vision for quality development, infrastructure investment, and community benefit.

His approach integrates proactive business engagement, data-informed site analysis, and a strong commitment to partnership-building, positioning Adams County as a premier destination for business and innovation along Colorado’s Front Range.

Before joining Adams County, Bill held leadership roles in both the public and private sectors, directing urban renewal, redevelopment, and community development programs across Colorado and the Southeast. He holds a Master of Public Administration in Planning and Economic Development from Georgia State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning with a Minor in Economics from the University of Georgia.
