Bob Kaplan serves as the Vice President and Regional Manager for the Denver office of Marcus & Millichap.

Mr. Kaplan transitioned to management in 2017 and brings with him a 17-year history concentrating solely on investments sales.

Mr. Kaplan joined Marcus & Millichap in the summer of 2014 as an associate director of the firm’s National Multi Housing Group.

He has sold multifamily, office, retail, as well as industrial properties, totaling more than 175 commercial real estate transactions over his career.

Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, he was a principal in Cushman & Wakefield’s Tucson office, where he was responsible for growing the firm’s multifamily presence in southern Arizona. Before becoming a commercial real estate investment professional, Mr. Kaplan had a successful career as a commodities options trader on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Mr. Kaplan graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and earned a master’s degree in international management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona
