Brannon Lambert brings over 30 years of experience in real estate development, acquisition, finance, and operations. Throughout his career, he has founded three real estate-related companies, two of which achieved successful exits to publicly traded firms: Matterport (NASDAQ: MTTR) and Vacasa (NASDAQ: VCSA).
Since joining Cogir Senior Living in 2019, Brannon has led the development of 14 new communities, overseeing projects from pre-development through construction completion, with total project costs exceeding $625 million. Before that, he co-founded VHT Studios, a venture-backed visual technology company serving the real estate industry, where he served as COO from 1998 to 2009. VHT was later acquired by Matterport (NASDAQ: MTTR), and subsequently by CoStar (NASDAQ: CSGP).
Earlier in his career, Brannon founded Excelsior Group, Inc. (EGI), a senior living development and management company focused on affordable housing using LIHTC financing. EGI successfully co-developed five communities in the Chicago metro area over a six-year period.
Brannon holds a BBA from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, with a dual major in Marketing and Real Estate Finance/Urban Land Economics. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Illinois and has served on multiple nonprofit boards throughout his career.
