CARL SCHMIDTLEIN is a principal at Galloway & Company, Inc. with more than 20 years of expertise in land development. His areas of emphasis have ranged from site feasibility, due diligence, and land entitlement approvals to general site engineering and project management.  Carl has been instrumental in building some of Galloway’s most successful client relationships; and as a client manager, he continually strives to provide the highest level of service and dedication to projects.  Carl is highly active in the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and received his Certified Retail Property Executive (CRX) designation in 2013 and is also a Certified Development, Design and Construction Professional (CDP).  Carl received a bachelor of science in civil engineering from the Colorado School of Mines along with a minor in environmental science in 1993, and in 1998 he graduated from the Leeds School of Business “50 for Colorado” program.  In 2001, Carl received his master’s in business administration from the University of Colorado, Denver. Carl is a professional engineer, licensed throughout the U.S., and a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC).  He is also a LEED accredited professional, a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
