Chad Murphy is a Managing Director at Hines, responsible for land and residential development, acquisitions, and dispositions across the firm’s West Market. Since joining Hines in 2012, he has successfully established and expanded the company’s land business in Colorado.

His responsibilities include sourcing new land acquisitions, securing entitlements, managing financial and homebuilder relationships, and executing finished-lot master-planned communities. Chad also oversees strategic growth for Hines’ land development platform throughout the western states.

Chad earned his MBA in Real Estate from the University of Colorado and holds a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Illinois.
