Chris is a Founding Partner/CEO at D4 Urban where he has led the delivery of the initial multi-award-winning projects as catalysts for redevelopment of the ~75-acre, Broadway Park mixed use neighborhood. His passion is in sustainable, urban, mixed-use development, in association with public transit. D4’ current direct/indirect project pipeline includes land sales, JV, ground lease, and infrastructure projects, covering apartments/retail and office. He also leads the management/operations team for the site that has 550,000sf of existing assets including anchor retail tenants Safeway and Sam’s Club, plus office tenants Quest Diagnostics and Karsh Hagan, in addition to the 250,000sf Denver Design District upscale “trade friendly retail” showrooms.

He has 36 years’ experience from the UK, Europe, Australia, and since 2006 in the Denver, CO, across Development/Funds Management, in Public and Private companies, with experience in industrial, business-park, CBD office, apartment, condo, single family and master planned community development, plus operational experience in the senior living sector.

Chris has a BSc in Urban Estate Management from Kingston University, UK, and a post-graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia. He is a Member of the RICS, was an inaugural Director of the Green Building Council of Australia, is a Member of the ULI, an Alumnus and past-Director/Board Chair of Transit Alliance, served on DRCOG’ Citizens Advisory Committee for Metro Vision 2040, and also served on Denver Mayor Hancock’s Pedestrian Advisory Committee. He has been a Moderator for ULI CO Young Leaders Group Partnership Forum, and a Judge on the ULI CO Impact Awards for 2019, and returning Judge in 2021.
