As a Hyder Project Executive, Colin’s primary responsibility is in operations managing projects and their teams from concept design through closeout. He works closely with owners, designers, and our teams to ensure Hyder’s services and delivery is aligned with our client’s project objectives. Establishing and nurturing relationships is one of Colin’s strengths and has yielded numerous successful projects and many loyal customers.

Colin has been in the construction industry for over 25 years and with Hyder for the last 8. He initiated his interest in the industry by working his way up from gofer to carpenter with a custom home framing crew while in college. Following graduation, he was fortunate enough to be hired and mentored by George Shaw for several years. Colin’s passion has grown into developing relationships and loyal customers through years of experience, honest communication, and hard work.

Colin earned his degree from the School of Engineering and Construction Management at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, while also adding some business and real estate focused classes from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He strives to give back through various volunteer work and boards, and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
