Darrin Anson is an Executive Vice President in the Longmont Market for FirstBank and he has worked for the bank since 1998.  In this role, he has extensive experience in many areas of real estate lending, including commercial projects in the multi-family, office, industrial, and retail sectors, plus construction and renovation.  He also has extensive lending experience in commercial and industrial sectors.  In additional to the Twin Peaks branch management role, Darrin is a voting member of the Bank’s Loan Committee.  Additional historic internal service includes the Bank’s Customer Development Committee and Chair of the Affordable Housing Group.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Darrin currently as a board member, Finance Committee member, and Treasurer of the Treaurer of the OUR Center (Outreach United Resource Center) located in Longmont.  He also serves as a board member of the Archdiocesan Housing an affiliate of Catholic Charities.  Formally, he served as Chairman of the Longmont Housing Authority Commission while also sitting on both the Executive and Finance Sub-Committees.  He also served as a Trustee of the Funding Partners while also servicing as Treasurer.

EDUCATION

Darrin received his BS degree in 1998 from the University of Nebraska in Kearney in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance, and earned a graduate degree in banking from the Graduate School of banking in Madison, Wisconsin.
