David has 35 years of experience envisioning, planning, executing, and managing complex, large-scale mixed-use, master planned communities and development teams.

He joined Lendlease in 2021 and is responsible for the 500-acre Horizon Uptown in Aurora planned for 3000 homes and 3.5 million square feet of commercial uses.

Prior to that, David was with McWhinney sine 2016 where he served as a SVP and led the company’s Northern Colorado master planned communities including Centerra. David is a California transplant where he grew up and spent the first 25 years of his career working for major developers such as Newhall Land and Farming and DMB Associates. Notable projects include the 21,000-home master plan of Newhall Ranch, 1,700-home community of Westridge and the Tournament Players Club there, and the 26,000-acre Tejon Mountain Village.

David and his wife Ritsuko are equestrians and love to travel. Their last summer travel adventure combined these and had them on Andalusian horses in Andalusia Spain! David has 4 children, 2 grandchildren and 4 fur-babies.
