David A. Gaspers, AICP, Principal City Planner for the City and County of Denver, Colorado, has focused on integrated land use and transportation planning, transit-oriented development and walkable urbanism for the past 17 years. He has managed both citywide plans that are comprehensive and strategic as well as area-specific, highly detailed station area plans. He currently serves as the Planning Services Special Projects Coordinator and is principal-in-charge of the Denver Downtown Area Plan. He received his Master’s degree in Community and Regional Planning from the University of Nebraska.
