David Lewis has been with S. A. Miro Consulting Engineers since 1981, having served in the roles of design engineer, project engineer, associate and President since 2004.  He has worked on a full range of project types and notable facilities, including Denver International Airport, the Air Force Academy, RTD parking structures and residential projects across the United States.

In recent years, with the rapid rise of construction costs, Mr. Lewis has helped lead initiatives within Miro to help identify premanufactured systems that can help design and construction teams hold project budgets, including the ramifications on overall building systems.

Dave’s off- duty activities include service on the Board of Directors of Community Housing Partners and Denver Children’s Home, as well as pro bono engineering with Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver.
