A typical day for Doug involves discussions with clients, meetings with design teams to review projects and having lunch with a new contact. As managing principal and head of architecture for our Denver office, Doug’s day-to-day is never the same but he wouldn’t have it any other way. Doug says the best part of working with Beck is “interacting with our clients and leading our teams to provide superior design solutions.” With 20+ years of experience, most of it in the Denver region, Doug’s diverse portfolio includes residential, faith-based and mixed-use projects. Doug is generous with his time outside of the office. He holds board and committee roles with several organizations, including the Design Build Institute of America Rocky Mountain Region, AIA, ULI, Downtown Denver Partnership and the Salvation Army Metro Denver. Despite a very full schedule, Doug takes time to enjoy the great Colorado outdoors and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
