Eliot Hoyt is a principal in the Brightview Design Group (BVDG) Denver office, with expertise in project management, urban design, Transit Oriented Development (TOD), and planning for resort and new community developments. Eliot is a certified planner (AICP) with a Bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and an MBA from University of Colorado Denver. He is a recent co-chair of the ULI Colorado Community Development Council, where he represents the urban side of community development. Eliot also serves on the International Advisory Board of the University of Colorado Real Estate Center, which is part of the Leeds School of Business. For two years, Eliot was an adjunct instructor at the Leeds School teaching real estate development fundamentals to undergraduates. In every endeavor, Eliot brings many perspectives to bear on new projects with his project management skills, facilitation training, abilities as an interpreter of complex content, and understanding of the business of real estate development.

As a part of BrightView, a $2.3 billion landscape services company traded on the NYSE, BVDG has access to expertise in construction, maintenance, tree propagation and care, golf course design and more; enabling the design team to provide unparalleled services to its clients. With projects across the U.S. and in select foreign markets, Eliot has worked on master planned communities, warm and cold weather resorts, industrial parks, mixed use centers, and urban redevelopments. In each case, he has applied a quadruple bottom-line perspective to achieve a market feasible, environmentally sound, socially engaging, and aesthetically pleasing results for his clients. The most satisfying projects are those that continue from feasibility, through planning and design, into brand identity and marketing, and ultimately construction and implementation.
