After obtaining a BA in Journalism from UNC, Geoffrey E. Keys returned to his hometown of Boulder to pursue a career in real estate.

The son of accomplished residential Boulder realtor, Warren “Sam” Keys, Geoffrey joined his father at Lashley-Persons Investment Company in 1977. The experience and knowledge he gained during his employment there later served him well when he established Keys Commercial Real Estate in 1984. As one of the area’s top producers, Keys has consistently been listed among the Top 25 Commercial Real Estate Brokerages in Colorado.
Keys Commercial formerly managed several million square feet of office and retail product, in Colorado and California. Geoffrey has represented many buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants for over five decades. Geoffrey was responsible for the assembly, disposition, leasing and management of the Crestone California Portfolio of Class-A office and retail properties in San Diego County. Geoffrey was instrumental in the development and construction of many commercial projects in Boulder including, South Tech Center, The Registry Building, and Viewpoint on the Parkway among many others.

As an active volunteer in the Boulder community, Geoffrey has served on many civic boards and groups including being the Founder of Commercial Brokers of Boulder in 1994.

Geoffrey also owns and operates Keys Motors Partnership, a dealer-to-dealer and auto auction based wholesale dealership specializing in exotic and specialty vehicles.
