Ian is a Preconstruction and Project Development Executive for Katerra’s Rocky Mountain Region. He is ultimately responsible for the direction and execution of preconstruction services to ensure alignment of program and vision in support of client expectations. This includes supervision of all underwriting yield studies, feasibility estimating/budgeting, design phase management, early design-assist procurement, Lean/IPD process implementation, and management of all cost controls to ensure a seamless transition from preconstruction to procurement and into operations.

His role in the Katerra’s Building Platform Costing was fundamental for the transition from R&D to launch. During his time in product development, he led a preconstruction team through coordination with architecture, engineering, component design, manufacturing, material sourcing, logistics, and construction.
